OVERVIEW

These Terms and Conditions govern all tours booked with SavannahExpertsAdventure, a family-owned Tours and Travel company based in Arusha, Tanzania.

By confirming a booking with SavannahExpertsAdventure, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, which establish the contractual relationship between you and SavannahExpertsAdventure.

For bookings made on behalf of multiple clients under a single reservation, the individual confirming the booking accepts these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all clients, including minors and persons with disabilities, and will serve as the primary contact for all named clients.

1. BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS
– All booking requests must be submitted in writing.
– A deposit of 10% is required to secure your reservation.
– The outstanding balance is payable upon arrival in Tanzania.
– All payments must be made free of bank charges to ensure the full amount is received by SavannahExpertsAdventure.

2. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be communicated directly to SavannahExpertsAdventure. Cancellation fees depend on the timing relative to the scheduled tour date:
– Cancellations within 24 hours of departure will incur a charge of 50% of the deposit.
– Tailor-made tours may be subject to specific cancellation terms, which will be provided at the time of booking.

3. VISA REQUIREMENTS
All visitors to Tanzania require a valid visa. We recommend obtaining your visa prior to travel, although visas may also be acquired upon arrival at Tanzanian airports.

4. MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Clients must disclose any pertinent medical information when booking. Each client is responsible for assessing their own fitness and suitability for the tour. We advise consulting a medical professional to confirm your capability to participate.
Savannah Experts Adventure recommends seeking medical advice regarding vaccinations and health precautions but does not provide medical guidance directly.

5. CLIMATE
Tanzania’s climate is generally hot and humid. December through March is characterized by hot, humid conditions; April and May experience heavy rainfall. The coolest and driest months are June through October, with November bringing short rains. Temperatures typically range from 25°C to 35°C, with an average annual rainfall of approximately 20mm.

6. SHOPPING TRIPS
Savannah Experts Adventure’ drivers and guides will escort you to recommended shops and curio stalls. We provide full assistance at no additional cost, accompanying you to offer recommendations and ensure a seamless shopping experience.

7. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
We endeavor to accommodate special requests, including dietary restrictions and specific accommodation preferences. Please notify us of such requirements at the time of booking.

8. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS
Savannah Experts Adventure collaborates with third-party suppliers such as accommodation providers, airlines, and tour guides to deliver travel services. While we select these suppliers with care, we do not control their operations and accept no liability for their actions or omissions.
These services are subject to the suppliers’ own terms and conditions, including limitations of liability. Clients acknowledge that these suppliers operate under Tanzanian law, and Savannah Experts Adventure does not guarantee compliance with laws outside Tanzania.

9. LIABILITY
Savannah Experts Adventure acts as an agent for various service providers, including hotels and transportation companies, and cannot be held liable for delays, injuries, damages, accidents, or itinerary changes resulting from client negligence.
Clients are strongly advised to take appropriate malaria prophylaxis prior to travel and consult a pharmacist for suitable recommendations.

10. FORCE MAJEURE
Savannah Experts Adventure accepts no responsibility for delays or failures to perform caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to war, civil unrest, terrorism, industrial disputes, natural disasters, adverse weather, or other unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.

11. INSURANCE
We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance covering all risks for the entire duration of your trip, including health, accidents, and cancellations.

12. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tanzania. All parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts for any disputes arising under this contract.
